Skylanders Spyro's Adventure is based around collectable toys. With limited stocks and Christmas approach it is likely that the best characters will sell out -- and double their value.

With the release of the game there has been much debate around which toys are best to buy. Steph Flemming has put together her Skylanders Tips and Character List on collecting strategies for these toys - both in terms of their value in the game and as toys in their own right.

Earth Characters
Fire Characters
Air Characters
Water Characters
Magic Characters
Tech Characters
Life Characters
Undead Characters

The top four characters are Ignitor (max strength), Stealth Elf (max agility), Chop-Chop (max armour) and Trigger Happy (max luck). These toys are already selling faster than the other and look set to be out of stock before Christmas.

We will be tracking the Amazon Skylanders Stats over the coming weeks to determine whether this trend continues.
